Western Star Lodge #2
Free and Accepted Masons of California
Chartered May 10, 1848
Welcome,
Are you curious about Freemasonry and/or our lodge in particular. First let me tell you a bit about our lodge:
Western Star Lodge is located in Shasta, California on state route 299 (about 6 miles west of Redding). The lodge holds its monthly business meeting on the first Tuesday of every month (unless that Tuesday falls on a holiday and then it would be the second Tuesday). We meet at 6:30pm for dinner and social interaction. At 7:30pm, our members move to the lodge room for our business meeting. Most of our events occur on Tuesdays as that is our lodge’s “day”. It is not uncommon for us to be there nearly every Tuesday for some type of meeting/gathering.
To be considered for fraternal membership a man must be 18 years of age, have a belief in a supreme being and be of good moral character. We like to invite interested men to come and meet us on several occasions and see the lodge to learn as much as they can to determine if Western Star lodge is a right fit for them.
Please accept this as an invitation to come to Western Star Lodge at any of our Tuesday dinners (first Tuesday of the month), enjoy a good meal and visit with us. You are welcome to bring your family as well. Head over to the contact page and let us know to expect you!
After we get to know each other and if you are interested in the fraternity, we are here to answer any questions you may have.
We look forward to seeing you at the lodge!
